Casablanca Valley

Casablanca is a pre-coastal valley, 18 km away from the sea, in a coastal plain region surrounded by the Costa mountain range. It has clear maritime influence, with a mainly cold climate which includes morning fog, which favors the slow ripening of the grapes. The cold air comes from the Pacific Ocean, influenced by the Humboldt Current, which comes from Antarctica and lowers temperatures. The average temperature during summer fluctuates around 25 ยบ C. The rainy season is between May and October. It has different soils with a similar alluvial origin: loamy, sandy, clay, and granitic soil. The characteristics previously mentioned allow us the production of high quality wines, with better freshness and acidity, lower alcoholic proof, and higher aromatic intensity, which combine into a unique style.
